I have had a strong sense of community and activism for as long as I can remember. From environmental clubs to climate change protests to volunteering, I believe we all must work together to make our world a place worth living in.

It was in 2023 when I submitted a small but powerful idea called the Youth Guardians to the Natural Hazards Research Australia’s Disaster Challenge that my passion for community resilience came together. I realised that even though I had always been an activist at heart I rarely was empowered to put my OWN ideas into action.

Now I’ve made it my mission to help other young people recognise how they can be powerful leaders and make meaningful and innovative change in their community.
